How to Make Cheese (Mozzarella Cheese) at home:



Required Ingredients:


  • Milk.
     
  • Citric Acid in powder form.
     
  • Rennet (in liquid).
     
  • Salt/cheese salt.

Method:

You can easily make mozzarella at your home. To enjoy a delicious homemade mozzarella cheese just follow given instructions:
 

  • At first, step pour 8-liter milk into a stainless steel pot.
     
  • Secondly heat milk on 55℉ and stir it slowly.
     
  • Now add 1 and ½ tablespoon citric acid into ¼ cup of cold water, add it in the milk and let it mix properly.
     
  • Increase heat at 88℉ and stir the milk gradually it will become thick like yogurt.
     
  • Then make a mixture of ¼ tablespoon rennet and ¼ cup cold water and add into milk and stir for 30 seconds.
     
  • And increase heat by 100 to 105 degrees and don’t stir. Gradually the milk will break up into curds and yellowish liquid. When the curds drag away from bottom of the pot then off the flame.
     
  • Curds will become shiny and the yellowish liquid called whey will be separate.
     
  • Take out the curds in some bowl and store the whey.
     
  • Using your hands press these curds and strain all the whey from them.
     
  • Reheat the stored whey at 175°. Make small balls of curds and put in the warm whey for few seconds.
     
  • Take them out and fold again and again using your hands.
     
  • Repeat the process until the curd becomes smooth flexible.
     
  • Now add 1 to 2 tablespoon salt in it.
     
  • You have done!
     
  • Store the cheese in refrigerator and finish it within a week otherwise, it will become spoil.

How to Make Cheese (Yogurt Cheese) at home:


Required Ingredients:

  • Milk.
     
  • Yogurt.
     
  • Salt/cheese salt.
     
Method:

You can easily make yogurt cheese at home by following these steps:
You can use homemade yogurt or can purchase ready-made yogurt for this recipe.
 

  • First of all heat 1 liter milk on 110ºF.
     
  • Mix 2 table spoons of homemade or packet yogurt in it and stir.
     
  • At Second step drain it in yogurt maker for 12 to 14 hours to increase the fermentation of bacteria.
     
  • And make four layers of cheese cloth in a utensil, and put the utensil at some big saucepan and put all the milk and yogurt mixture in it.
     
  • Put into refrigerator for 12 to 32 hours or until the creamy cheese left in it.
     
  • Now make it dry at room temperature and pour into some bowl.
     
  • Enjoy your cheese.
     
  • You can Store it in refrigerator for a week and use before spoiling.
